Worst part is... they use to have decent deals. Deals are getting tougher to come by on Makita I feel like. I've branched into Milwaukee M12, and stuck with Makita 18v

Makita has always been my favorite, because of the high quality builds and performance, but they really messed up with 40v. They made the mistake of doing the dual slot 18v tools, which made a future battery platform, like 40v, impossible to make backwards compatible, like Dewalt did with their Flexvolt.

They also barely have any real estate at Home Depot, now.

It seems to be a dying company.

Milwaukee will have the same problem when they try to do a higher voltage platform.
