Cybervelo EK11 is a budget fat tire e bike that stands out for strong torque, quiet operation, and surprisingly quick street speed, with real world reports of about 31.5 mph on flat ground and solid hill holding. It also has upgrade friendly hardware, including room for a rear rack, easier display swaps, and a suspension setup that can be improved with better brakes and a real rear shock. The main drawback is the battery labeling, since the 30Ah version tested at about 19Ah to 20Ah and the seller reportedly offered only a small refund. Fit can also be awkward for shorter riders, and the front light bracket may need adjustment to avoid limiting fork travel.
Tall riders who want a customizable project bike, because the frame has room for rack, shock, and display upgrades and the front fork can be corrected for better travel.
Riders who want a cheap full-suspension base for upgrades, because the stock setup is easy to swap to hydraulic brakes, a better shock, and a rear rack.
The 30Ah version has been tested at about 19.01Ah, which is effectively a 20Ah pack. The battery case also appears to be too small to fit a true 30Ah cell count, and the seller reportedly admitted it was mislabeled.
Yes. The 30Ah model has been bought for about $368 shipped using the normal sale coupon, a Wednesday weekly building discount, and a coins discount, and another buyer reported $317 shipped on the 30Ah version. The discounts can stack, and restocks may appear after midnight Pacific.
The tires arrive deflated and cold, so bead seating may need soapy water during setup. The biggest reported drawbacks are mechanical brakes, a front light bracket that can limit fork travel until repositioned, and a controller that lacks watts monitoring; common upgrades include hydraulic brakes, a better rear shock, and a rack or tail light kit.
A 5'5" rider could touch tippy toes and a 5'7" rider could get the front of the foot down, but both had difficulty swinging a leg over the seat. The seat is effectively not very adjustable, so shorter riders may find mounting awkward even if riding itself is fine.
One purchase added over $67 in extra charges beyond local taxes, described as tariff charges. That means the checkout total can be noticeably higher than the advertised sale price.
Got the 30ah version for $317 shipped. Also buying a Hallong mount to install on my other bike rear rack to utilize battery on either bike. Some people are not mentally capable of charging responsibly, and keeping an eye on ANY lithium battery while charging.

317 shipped, How? The 20ah was $347 and 30ah was 380ish. What discount did you get?

It was 368 for the 30ah when I bought it....I got the normal sale coupon plus the Wednesday weekly building discount..plus the coins discount....(bought from the coins page) the discounts added up to 50 dollars and some change
I will use my battery tester to see the actual capacity when I get it...I doubt the extra 20 bucks got me 10 actual ah...but for this price, why not...just the full suspension frame and 1000w motor are worth it. The controller is supposed to be Uart 2. And the display is basically a cheap S866....so Display upgrade is easy... Gonna be a cheap project bike
I love my pimped Urlife E20, but even with a fat guy seat, my back hurts after a 20 mile ride with the hard tail. I have 1800 miles on it, and ready for full suspension now.

Yeah. When I looked yesterday the 30ah wasn't available so I got the 20ah for the $347 shipped. My 1st experience with alli. Wasn't aware of the other discounts.

If you faithfully check in every day on the coins....you build up a cache.....then when you look at an ad...then check the coins page they have a chance to discount the item you just looked at... You have to add the item to cart or order from coins page... The Wednesday game just builds a discount for a week then can use after Wednesday. .. they both stack with coupons....I was stressing all day when they sold out the 30ah...but checked after midnight Pacific because sometimes they restock...and they DID!! GOT it early this morning.

Perfect example of when having knowledge is helpful. I really wanted the 30ah and when it was gone, I was like, $299 for the 20ah was still good. But I really wanted the bigger battery. And by your description of the discounts there really were no additional discounts for me since I was brand new? I need to look further into the coins.

Battery testers who want to verify pack capacity, because the battery can be checked with a tester and the capacity result was around 20Ah.
Commuters needing strong hill help and quick neighborhood speed, because the motor delivers good torque and holds over 25 mph on most inclines.
Riders expecting a true 30Ah battery, because the pack tested at about 19Ah and was described as mislabeled.
Short riders who need easy mounting, because the seat height makes getting a foot over the bike difficult around 5'5" and 5'7".
People who want strong stock brakes and suspension, because the mechanical brakes are weak and the fork and shock need upgrades to ride well.
Buyers who need a motor-controller setup that matches the advertised power, because the controller appears undersized for the claimed 1000W motor.
