I've seen a lot of hate for Razer mice on deals recently and I'm not too sure why. Can't comment on others, but this was the perfect fit for me. Perfect number of buttons, very smooth to use, nice and light. Razer software has been good imo: lots of options to customize buttons, assign macros or windows functions or other keyboard functions. Battery life is great. Included cord is something I want for all my mice. Tri-mode connectivity is great for me as I move from station to station depending on what office I'm in. Feels like a steal at this price.
I got this on clearance like a year ago from Walmart for 60 bucks. It's nice but not as hefty as my old Logitech that looked about the same. I bought the charging puck off of amazon for $20 bucks and I use an old iPhone qi charger to charge it.

Ordered this last week for the same price. Pretty happy with it so far. I have the dongle plugged into my work laptop and Bluetooth for my gaming laptop. Makes it easy switching between them with the toggle switch on the bottom of the mouse. My first RGB peripheral, now I want a new keyboard..
If you're not a gamer that plays competitive games, you wouldn't understand
There definitely exists good brands for under $90. Really just depends on if you want the brand name. Attack Shark has decent mice for like half the price with sometimes the same or better hardware. You mention competitive games but price doesn't always mean better performance. Buy this mouse if you can afford it and you like it. Simple as that lol

This is unfortunate but confirmed by Razer support.
I have this mouse and it's alright. Nowhere near worth $89 though, especially if it doesn't come with a warranty.
