IMO the only TYLENOL worth buying is the Rapid Release Gel caplets. Costco has them for 0.09c a pill.

Good price if you need a small bottle, 500 usually expires before I can finish them. If I do buy them from Costco I split it with my family.

I think this is probably ok for someone who can't take the regular pills. The coating helps prevent stomach upset. And some people don't really need a 500 pill bottle of pain reliever as lots of this stuff gets wasted when they expire.

There was a 2018 study that found rapid release gel caps were actually slower than the regular one.

But I agree in essence, the regular caps are enough and anything else fringes on trying to take more money out of our pockets.

Those expiration dates are very conservative, you can treat them similar to best buy dates for food, for hard pills anyway. They last way longer than those dates. They do loose potency over time but it takes decades to become ineffective. Keeping them a few years after expiration date they will be perfectly fine.
