Is there a way to see what's included? I doubt it, but I'm curious if parts racks are considered shelving.

For those who bought it, is the ITC worth it? I'm always buying tools but haven't bought too much at HF. I need a new ratchet though, so it's tempting because I was looking at the Quinn the other day. Saves $5, I suppose.

I don't buy a ton of tools, I still joined ITC. If you join, do the two year membership. One year is $30, two years is $45 total.

Totally worth if you like me and like collecting excess tools that you'll probably never use.

They often have free items with any purchase (for ITC Members) (I buy zip ties or super glue) and you can free items as good as wrenches, step bits, or down to zip ties and microfiber cloths.

Or you can get the free item with a purchase above a limit $20 or $30 to get the free item. ITC membership counts as an item if you want to wait for for that deal.

Harbor Freight tools are generally very decent quality and excellent value. If you are not a tradesman that will literally use them every day, they will be more than most people will need.

I paid $44 for 2 years but for some reason they gave me 4 years so 100% worth it for me.

I bought it to get the extra savings they offered on the single item coupon last year (20% instead of 15%) and bought a 56" top and bottom that weekend, so it paid for itself on those transactions alone. I also got a $15 certificate for my birthday and the 30% off items up to $20 instead of $10 every few months is a biggie as well. If you plan to buy much there I think it's pretty worthwhile.

I'm eyeing a Quinn ratchet and just saw a torque adapter that would be useful for gunsmithing/assembly. Between the two of those with today's discount, that's already $15. I guess I'll pony up for it -- thanks for the perspectives.

Good catch, it is breaker bars and only one qualifies for the promotion.

If you live near a HF, get the ITC. 10 years ago I had it and frankly it was not great, now if you live close enough or if go by one often enough, the perks are worth it. I get my money back from the free stuff alone (free bucket, free step bits, free this, free that). I also like the 30% off sales give you 30% off everything in the store priced under $20 instead of $10 for everybody else. Hint, if you tell your friends the phone number you registered your ITC with they can also use the membership - just tell them not to redeem the free stuff as you are limited to 1 free item per day and if they take it, you will not be able to get it that day.

I'm getting free stuffs multiple times a day (3 stores around my area). Sometimes when not busy and the cashier is nice enough I can get 2 different free items in separate transactions.

A lot of people will say wait til there's an item with a discount that pays for the membership, but that's honestly kind of rare. Most ITC prices will swing around and be the same price for non-itc members eventually. You get most of your value back out of the small things. The flat percent off coupons where sub $20 items that rarely go on sale are 30% off can save you up to $30 in one transaction. Sometimes they have 15/20% off no exclusions coupons, but most big ticket items will regularly go on sale for more than 20% off so it's hard to get value out of them but it does help with getting the stuff that sells out fast during sales. Then you have all the random freebies like buckets and ammo cans and stuff. Most likely you wouldn't have bought that stuff but it's nice to have, especially the buckets. If you consider buckets to be worth $5 each it's not hard to get 9 buckets in 2 years.

Just comes down to if you're willing to play the game and pay attention to promotions. If you plan on shopping there 2 or 3 times a year only for specific items you want, probably won't get your money back. If you're in the store weekly it adds up fast.
