I am seeing $26.5 at walmart. Are you saying it will be lower than that for Ultra platinum? Which i don't think has been the case in the past.

That's an amazing deal, comes out to $23 for 2x 5qts or $11.50/5 qt jug!

EDIT: Only works in stores, NOT ONLINE, had to cancel my online order.

Is $26.50 normal price for ultra platinum at Walmart? I might try to stack this with a sale or clearance price if so to get the price even lower. Stocked up last year so not in a huge hurry for more oil.

Trying to do the math which is better to the $10,$20 or $30.

I do my oil change at every 10K, so it is better to get the regular synthetic? A oil change at every 15K? My goodness, for real?

Not sure if Amazon is an approved retailer. I tried to submit a claim, and it wants you to select a specific retailer, but nothing pops up when entering Amazon, and I couldnt get it to proceed. Any tips?

I've tried mail in rebates for oil and typically, I don't get the reward or any notification after filling in all the crap. No thanks! It's just an address gathering ploy.

Thank you, I couldnt get the participating locations link to work. I use 0W-40 ultra platinum, and its not always easy to find in store.

Rebates are such a gimmick. Nothing like letting corporations borrow your money for an indefinite amount of time and your submission may or may not be approved and how many of us actually follow-up on it after a week or two? At least Menards has had to back off of their pre-pay 15% policy - which amounts to a prepaid gift card (not a rebate at all) since the "rebate" is a merchandise credit in store.

They aren't under any obligation to even offer rebates. If you take the time to document what you submit and you're denied, you can fight it. Typically the majority of rebates are approved with no issue. Who cares if they hold your 'money' for 90 days or whatever, it's not like you paid more for the product up front than what it sells for w/o any rebate. So who cares? You'll get your money, are you that desperate for the $20?
