Pennzoil Ultra Platinum and other full synthetic jugs can net a strong effective price, especially when the $30 prepaid card is paired with Walmart or AutoZone pricing. The oil is described as a solid choice for high mileage and specialty applications, and the rebate has paid out cleanly for some claims. The main catch is that the offer is store only, with online pickup, Instacart, and some receipt formats causing trouble. Rebate approvals also seem inconsistent, so receipt details and status checks matter.

weird. mine sas 26.5 in store available now.
That's as an online pickup order. Hopefully that works. I just bought it directly in store to make sure there's no rebate problem. No internet involved. They won't price match in store direct purchase, but you will get the lower price if you do it as a store pickup online.

I've tried mail in rebates for oil and typically, I don't get the reward or any notification after filling in all the crap. No thanks! It's just an address gathering ploy.
I've never had a problem with Pennzoil rebates. Maybe it's just you.

Trying to do the math which is better to the $10,$20 or $30.

I do my oil change at every 10K, so it is better to get the regular synthetic? A oil change at every 15K? My goodness, for real?

I typically get this stuff at AutoZone and they will price match Amazon and Walmart. Easy one 5 min away order and pickup.

$29.44 5qt jug at Walmart. The rebate filing is a little different this year. Phone# required field & email verification code prior to submission. But all in all pretty simple.

I am seeing $26.5 at walmart. Are you saying it will be lower than that for Ultra platinum? Which i don't think has been the case in the past.
It's been $23.97 on sale in the past at Walmart, but it's been awhile Frown

Great yearly deal. Unfortunately, Mobile 1 doesn't match it!
