It probably varies from state yo state or one area to another. I usually order from Costco Same Day as I did not want to pay the service fee that the Instacart app charges. But yesterday when I couldn't add the instacart gift card to Costco Same Day, I ended up ordering directly from Instacart. So was specifically comparing the prices of items and saw no difference between the two here in Baltimore area. Again probably varies depending on where you live

In my experience it's usually the same price for most items, but rarely I would notice a price discrepancy on certain items

You are right, I changed address to my old Nevada address and prices are the same as the Costco appOh well - sucks to be a Californian lol

My local Aldi's allows pick ups on $35+ orders without fees (with Instacart+). I assume there're other stores that allow that, depending on the area. Markup is ~10%, but I assume you got those GCs with at least a 10% discount, so should be at least breaking even on the purchase + saving some time.

A couple times I checked, the Sameday.costco directly is often a bit cheaper than costco via instacart.

I was able to order 2 total $200 gift cards on separate orders/transactions with no problem. Worth trying.

I paused for about 5m between transactions.

it was a high mark up on costco.com as well
