Does this work like the regular Apple air tags or is it like the cheaper ones where you could get four for $20 on Amazon where you could only locate it if you're within like 50 ft ?
I'll put this in the form of a question since I don't know what the current state of things is. With an AirTag, every iPhone in the world is a conduit for locating an AirTag. With a product like Tile, the only devices that can do that are ones running a Tile app. What about Android?

If you want airtag equivalent but for Android this is the best option. Probably better than samsung smarthings as this has UWB and will work with Android find my and uses every android phone to locate itself compared to samsung which only uses Samsung devices to locate itself.

I don't think all Android phones come with the google find my preinstalled yet. Any google branded device (pixel phones) are automatically part of the network, but I am pretty sure samsung runs their own competing network. The service can still be used for samsung phones, but is opt-in by manually installing the google app instead of part of phone setup/automatic. (Source: was looking at the state of android devices last week because my Tile battery died and I want to move off their network)
Only newer phones have UWB compatibility, not sure which Motorola phones do this. It's not listed on any of there latest phones. Apple phones started doing this from iPhone 15. Samsung started doing this from release year S24
