Not really unless you use it strictly for light works. Multitool and reciprocating saw are the ones I'll wait for brushless deals

You want the newest model if you're buying Ryobi. There are a number of video's on the YT that compare the older gen to the current gen and the performance difference is quite significant. The older gens don't perform all that well. They're probably fine for smaller tasks, but they seem pretty disappointing vs the current model PBLMT51B.

I'm waiting (hoping) for Direct Tool to offer it at a discount.
