Deal History
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
This is basically the regular selling price for this item, not a deal. And it's gotten posted already in the last week, little bit tired of seeing the same 'deals' repeatedly.

They have a million generic versions of this, but spending a bit more money on it for a reputable brand like Belkin or Anker is worth it. Better than your house burning down. Anker also has a version like this, but with USB ports too. It's been on sale for a few days.
Thanks for letting us know, I was worried it drew energy from the ether and I would have to deal with yet another Eldritch horror in my house.
They meant that it actually attached to the outlet, not a normal surge protector that's a cable attached to a box. It's an outlet extender specifically.

It's a surge protector. Do you think the cable is doing the surge protection?
Surge protector with no automatic AC shutoff is basically just a power strip. You are guessing if you have surge protection with no way to know.
Different tech. This protective components absorb the surge instead. You can tell if you are protected by the green light. Some don't want their equipment shut off.
