I have the one for the Switch 1 because it allows for charging while playing in tabletop mode. I haven't had a need to get a Switch 2 version since it can also charge via the top USB port.

Negative reviews are from people who thought they were buying a dock with an HDMI output. This is a stand with power passthrough and usb connectivity for wired controller connecting. IMO, any USB C hub with power passthrough will allow you to do the same thing. You can just use the kickstand built into the Switch 2.

FYI on that camera. It's cute as heck but garbage image quality. Aim higher, don't be fooled by how goddang cute it is. Or if you still need it, prepare for mediocrity.
