I'm really not buying Zotac again. I paid for a refurbished card in December that immediately produced VRAM errors, and they are still "trying to acquire a replacement" for me for the last three weeks.

I had a good experience with getting an immediate advance replacement from them years ago of a GTX 1070. They actually sent a 1080 because it was the equal or better option that was in stock.

That sucks. Although, I see how that can happen. They sell all of the ones they have and since they don't produce them anymore probably don't have any to give you. Probably have to wait until another one comes in to be refurbished to give you. Have you asked for your money back?
That said, I got a refurbished 3070Ti from them and it's been running great for more than a year now.

I thought about asking for my money back, but since I had to pay to get the card shipped/insured back to them, they would likely not reimburse me for the extra cost, so I'll wait for a new card. Just today, they said they completed running diagnostics on the RMA'd card, which leads me to believe that they likely get a lot of these issues.

Makes sense. Good luck. At least you heard back from them now.

Why would you buy a 4070ti for $640 when you can buy a 5070 for $550. It has the latest tech and cheaper.

Because it is faster and has more VRAM?
