This flashlight has been on sale for weeks (without the "free" 3 Ah battery) for $30. How is that battery free at $50 (+$20)?

If you buy the flashlight in a home Depot store, it's $30 and you still get the 3ah battery free (or $13 flashlight $16 battery).

There are 4 different threads posted for this same flashlight "deal". One is for $50, one for $30, a "hack" deal $14, and a clearance deal for $11. I believe the post I quoted below explains all of the confusion surrounding this deal. It appears that someone at Home Depot messed up and had the prices wrong on these nationwide for several days but it's now been corrected. Some people were able to buy this flashlight due to a store clearance pricing error at $11, while others were able to get the flashlight with a free 3ah battery for $29.97, which was a nationwide pricing error also available online at the time. The price is now showing as $49.97, which appears to be what the proper price should have been. They just had this flashlight for sale online last week (and for however long before that) for $29.97 with no free battery, and so it made no sense why it was being offered at the same price with a free battery. I think it's safe to say at this point that all other deal threads for this flashlight should marked as dead, with this $50 "deal" thread being the only one that's still a valid and active offer.
