Bastards. I noticed this too but it's showing as $50, not $30 for me. "Special Buy", huh?

Also, oddly, it shows as in stock for my local store and yet unavailable to order for pickup.

It's not on clearance at any of the stores near me, though. That's the weird part. Unless that just happens chain wide when corporate tells stores to start getting rid of their stock, leaving the clearance timing up to the store?

If it goes on clearance it'll definitely show you the in store price, there's a banner that says it's on clearance and when you tap it, it shows the price.

How good is the flashlight and how useful is the battery? I've only recently starting seeing the lithium batteries but don't have anything to use it for.

Yeah that's not true, there is a "See in store clearance price" banner that comes up and it will show you the in-store price for your selected store.

Everyone else is able to. If you dont see that banner, then its not on clearance at your store. That is probably your problem.

Its showing up as 49.97 for me. The break down in the cart shows 20.57 for the 3ah battery and 29.40 for the flashlight kit.

Same thing for me, so I went into their b&m store, find the flash light and the 3ah battery, and went to their pro desk for check out, got both for $30. I don't want to do the hack, since HD banned my account last year for doing the Milwaukee tools hack.
