Don't get the digital key tag. If you're using a deal in the app you can't use the digital Frosty key tag at the same time. But if you have the physical you just flash it to him and they'll give it to you every time when you're picking it up.

I used to buy one of these key tags every year, but I haven't eaten at Wendy's in months thanks to their ridiculously inflated prices, terrible coupons, shrinking portions, and the steady erosion of their food quality and service. Wendy's is a textbook example of how to lose loyal customers.

Noticed the same in my area. They used to be great, always have 2 for 1 or such deals once a week, fast. Over the course of about 18 months they raised prices further, cut staffing, and never have good coupons anymore. I stopped by one about a month ago as it was late and I just wanted something, and ended up spending 20 dollars for 2 burgers, and had to wait about 20 minutes to get them. That will be my last visit - even sit down restaurants have faster service and cheaper prices these days!

I usually add these to the family kids gifts, cousins etc, for Christmas each year as part of the gift tag. This year it was delayed past the holidays and it was a bummer. You can purchase through the Dave foundation that helps with adoptions, which supports the foundation as well. They are cute and small, if you don't visit 3 times a year not sure why you would want this anyway. Nice little treat in the summer.

Can you purchase just the digital key tag? If so, do you just do a mobile order with only the tag and choose pick up (Anywhere nearby)?

I haven't see a way to do this 100% online.

The deals on the Wendy's app has gone downhill for quite some time now. It really reduces the value of these frosty keychains since I'll be visiting Wendy's A LOT LESS unless things change.

Not only that, Wendy's plans to close many locations this year. so if you don't have many Wendy's in your area, you may have even less later in 2026.

Wendy's as a company, is totally dysfunctional right now. They should have released these in late November, but they have so much management churn that they just forgot to order the keytags.

The shredded lettuce is really gross.

The food quality has gone down a lot just in the last six months. Prices outside of a small number of loss-leader items is insane.

Other forums say Wendy's structured a late release to curb using prior to calendar year. Would think that b as simple as telling staff to not honor it though there were reports of aggression and battery on staff. Pretty twisted world were in. Unfortunate all around as many would buy as gifts from dave thomas when they sold on black Friday.
No deal here. Late release on retail cost. Coulda been a deal with that burger keychain
