I bought this a few weeks ago and returned it for a couple of reasons. I primarily used this device connected to an audio amplifier and use it in my office. I connected to it using my laptop and stream music and videos while working.
First the audio output was really low compared to the previous device I was using. Second, the unit turns off after a period of time of inactivity. Not really an issue, but more of an annoyance. It was located in an out of the way location, and I would have to turn it on every morning, where the other unit stayed on all the time.
Other than the lower audio output, I didnt really see an increase in sound quality either.

I still have it, but it was starting to disconnect from laptop for no reason at random times.
Not sure if it was a driver, or if it is starting to die. I have had it for several years.
Instead, I got this one [amazon.com], and it appears to working fine so far.
