Good deal. I bought the 1TB variant for $49.99 and it got sold out. This is great for non Series games, and cold storage in my opinion.

I sense another Sandisk cancellation debacle.

I would assume so. It notes that it is compatible with Windows and Mac OS.

Can this be shucked and what's inside? I know WD physically removes the sata port on their portable spinning hard drives.

Same question lol. I need to replace an old style sata SSD drive and even those are getting marked up for no apparent reason.

Someone shucked a 1TB version and found a WD Blue SN550E NVMe

I got the 1tb version from vipoutlet a while back when they were $32/pc.
If you shuck it and put it into an NVMe port it's slower than using the box. And you can't use the box for other NVMe ssds.

Thanks bought two, but both credit cards failed with the security code. Don't know why but paypal checkout worked.

I bought one and used PP but forgot to go get my extra 10% code from email, forehead slap! 😣🤦 Any chance calling and asking CS for an adjustment could be worth it?

I double checked both my credit cards so I know the security code is valid so they are either having CC auth issues or they are trying to reject orders because this discount is too good?
