I have this laptop. It's not heavy? I mean it's metal so it's more than a plastic one but I wouldn't call it heavy.
I thought the same thing...3.42lbs according to Dell. A Lenovo ThinkPad P14s is 3.51lbs. Then there is a ThinkPad X9 14 Aura Edition for almost $1500 that is 2.75 lbs (about .75 lbs difference). Not sure that really is "heavy af"...

Maybe it is heavy as an 14 inch as there 16 inch models weigh the same and even a bit less than this. Metal chassis might make a difference. Also good specs.
Ugh I just ordered the HP below from Costco. Seems like this Dell is about the same (except for the display) for $220 less... not sure if I should return the HP or just keep it.

My friend, I believe the one you got from Costco is a significantly better CPU with respect to performance. 8 cores on the 258v vs 16 cores on the 255h. https://nanoreview.net/en/cpu-com...tra-7-255h

If you're cherry-picking, there are 14" laptops that weigh more than this, too (as I pointed out in my post above). I'm not sure what kind of shape a person would have to be in to say 3.42lbs is "heavy af". Many of the 14" ultra light laptops cost way more than this also.
