Don't buy these as they snap from hinge. I ignored this warning , bought and they snapped within 3 months. Even Sony has acknowledged this defect for this model and extended the warranty .

Same here. I bought one 10 months ago and loved it so much I bought 2 more (for kids). Then my hinge snapped, exactly where everyone said it would. I used it on weekends but took good care of it. It's a great pair of headphones but I don't know if it's worth $60 for a year's worth of use.

These sound good (bass heavy) and are very comfy with good ANC, cheap plastic build quality but for $60 is crazy

Don't buy these as they snap from hinge. I ignored this warning , bought and they snapped within 3 months. Even Sony has acknowledged this defect for this model and extended the warranty .

I'd say YMMV. I've had mine (through a similar deal) for about a year. I've worn them to do yardwork, workout, perform repairs under the house, and bumped them against things more than anyone should. I haven't had any indication of the hinges breaking on me yet. And if it does break, these come with a two warranty.

On this model can it be repaired, or it's a goner? I have the previous model (Extra Bass) and they sell replacement pieces. Fixed one for $20.

Bought 2 of these from secondipty via ebay, both times they came in looking immaculate. For 60 bucks these are a steal, the anc is actually really good for this price. I like to listen to hip hop and edm on them, these are for bassheads, if you listen to classical music or other lame music you should stay away.

Love these but after 6 months, the headband snapped just at the earcup, very similar to how my XM4s did before I bought these. Sony has a big issue with hinges and joints in their headphones. I will keep buying them because I love them but I will always buy via Ebay Certified Refurbished so that I have the 2 year warranty with Allstate. They just refunded me full price for the pair that just broke

I used JB weld on my WH-CH720N (same headband with weak hinge) and it's stronger than it was originally.

I've been looking for a decent pair for my 8 year old. Every time I buy cheap ass headphones at 5 Below they never work more than a few days. If she breaks the hinge on these, I'll have the Allstate warranty. Also, I've found with kids that getting the most cost effective thing isn't necessarily the best. Subpar tech drives adults crazy and kids don't like stuff that doesn't work right. You end up spending more time and effort troubleshooting the cheap tech.

My 5 year old has been using JLab JBuddies Pro for over a year now and has had no issues.

Bought them last time for about the same price (last May). Got broken literally today, and allstate insurance denied the claim.
so, NOT RECOMMENDED. The quality is too poor.
