I've been a flip phone user for the past 4 years of so. I've been very impressed by the durability of my razor 2024. I've always had samsung but they only lasted a year before the screen started dying on the folding part. I got the razr via a pretty good deal and did not expect much. I have not treated it very well and dropped sooo many times but it keeps going. My samsung flips would have had never taken this abuse. Sure, my razr 2024 is slow, camera is meh at best but I don't have to coddle it and don't even have a full case on it, I only have the bottom part covered to make it easier to hold.
So seriously, don't count motorola flips out. They are more durable than the Samsung. They're not as performant but hey, what good is a broken phone?
Im going to look into this. Was considering this phone for my wife.
Watched a few long term review videos and yes, there are reports of the screens having issues in as little as 2 months. Oooof.
What "issues" exactly are people complaining about? Everyone have same issues or are there a litany of different issues with the screens? Also does it affect all the Razr models or just the Ultra?

A common one i saw was the inner screen going dead and needing replacement
Excellent Snapdragon 8 elite phone. No issues with this phone some people abuse theirs like and iPhone and expect the same durability with a flip screen.. Take care of it and it's lasts just fine.

I wouldn't pay $800 for it, but then again, I wouldn't spend that much for any phone.
