Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank possiblyscammedman

i have never had any experience with this company and am not making any accusations, i just felt like it's worth noting that Nintendo Pro controllers have a surprising number of counterfeits out there (some of which are extremely convincing).
When purchasing from anyone, it may be worth looking out for signs of potential counterfeits as shown in many youtube videos like this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPPG4VnQ2a8

Again, no accusation, just saying that I would stay weary when purchasing these, especially at lower price points.

Don't really matter as far as getting the right one because the authentic one is prone to drift stick. It just too Bad man. Mines finally got drifted after 2+ years. It abysmal so I traded it in to GS for store credit. I won't be getting another one. YMMV on experience, people! Mine isn't an indicator of everything

If it isn't a counterfeit, fantastic price. Some people talk about drift, I've beaten a couple mine with Smash and it still works just fine. Joycons on the other hand are MUCH worse joysticks prone to failure with drift. Pro controller sticks are awesome imho.

I've got 4. 2 have drift. I can't take the chance. 8bitdo for the rest of my foreseeable gaming life.

I had some joy cons that had the drift, sent them back to Nintendo to be repaired for free... Wonder if they do that for the pros? I have a pro and it's been fine.

Nintendo would do everything it can to keep u from sending it to them by troubleshooting extensively. Otherwise yes they replace it as expected. Not sure how the goons do it behind the scene but yeah YMMV on experience. I personally wont bother sending it to them

VIP Outlet is legitimate. They are absolutely fine to purchase from.

My switch pro controller died after a few years. Some of the buttons stopped working. I hardly used it so was quite surprised when it failed. Luckily I have multiple third party controllers that are compatible with the switch 2. I played Donkey Kong Bananza with the 8bitdo ultimate 2 wireless controller (which was updated to support switch 2 using the dongle; just have to start it while pressing the Y button to put it in switch mode). The only problem is that it would rumble almost constantly within the game. Upon reading forums supposedly it is a bug in the game that affects all third party controllers. So I had to play the entire game with rumble off.

So as much as I prefer 8bitdo controllers, there are cases where a game bug may hamper your experience when using third party controllers. No idea whether the bug has been fixed now. But it was definitely an issue when I played the game.
