For those who are wondering about the added sugar, the 4g of "added sugar" comes from the oat milk production process itself, not from any actual added sweeteners.

During manufacturing, the starches in oats are naturally broken down (hydrolyzed) into free sugars. The FDA requires these naturally occurring sugars to be labeled as "added sugars" even though no sugar or sweeteners are actually added to the product.

Woah! Solid deal! I used to buy this all the time when it was on sale for $24. Then they got greedy and raised the price to over $30 so I switched brands. For $15, I stocked up and got three containers.

Better than Costco brand AND when they used to carry this in different style packaging where neither are as creamy nor frothy if you are adding to coffee.

FWIW I bought like 4 or 5 of these boxes on sale from Woot in mid December- thinking they would last me the next year and they all expire on Feb 8, so I will end up throwing away half my purchase. Curious to see if these also have a near term expiration

It's needed for the thick creamy consistency. Otherwise it's too watery; like the one you get at Costco. For you organic folks, this is a worthy contender (when its on sale) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CSCV13MW?th=1
