My local Sam's had Switch 2 bundle on sale for $379 for a few days....didn't grab one, but can confirm it's no longer on sale....not sure what's going on..

I've been playing since SNES and it's a nice departure and a wonderful multiplayer arcade game.
If you are looking for a single player experience, this isn't it. DK Bananza.
Otherwise, wait for more first party games for the S2.

I like the game, but I can't say I like it better than MK8 deluxe. Just comparing my favorite track that's in both...Moo Moo Meadows. I much prefer the art style in 8.

I have over 800 hours in MKW and can't go back to 8DX. Online lobbies are full 24/7. Now you know somebody that plays.

Also, I agree that this Mario Kart doesn't hold up to MK8.

Having played 8 on Wii U, 8dlx was way too samey and we lost interest quickly. World is a lot of fun, especially online but it has its problems. Bagging ruins the experience, there is little variety in intermission tracks, and the lack of 3 lap tracks that start from a full stop is frustrating. Still the trick mechanic is refreshing. I would still play it except for the fact that our switch 2 overheated and crashed multiple times in less than a week because it got tooo hot on the dock. So it got returned and we will not purchase another one until the heat issues are addressed with a redesign.
