Those are Ginghers, really great sewing scissors. They cut easily through most fabrics, even multi layers. I've had mine for 30 years and they are still my favorite. Did Fiskars buy the brand? Worth every penny.

Fiskars did buy Gingher.
• Fiskars Brands, Inc. acquired the Gingher scissors business in 2005.
• Since then, Gingher has been part of the Fiskars brand family (though still marketed as its own premium scissor brand).

So basically:
• Fiskars = parent company
• Gingher = one of the brands they own

They still position them a little differently — Gingher tends to stay in the higher-end / heirloom sewing-shears space, while Fiskars covers more everyday and mid-range scissors.
