These contraptions keep showing up all over slickdeals, are they for people with diabetes or something specific?

They're generally for athlete recovery, but yeah I could see them being helpful for people with diabetes or any kind of circulation issue. They put some kind of fancy version of this on my legs when I was in the hospital recovering from surgery.

Yes! They're basically a standard order in the hospital after surgery, individuals who are on bedrest, or can't ambulate; specifically to promote circulation, unless otherwise contraindicated by the physician. I think athletes use it for the massage and circulation function. My friend who does full marathons got a full leg one but it cost $800+. I ordered one this morning and it just arrived so I have it on my legs because I'm recovering from the half marathon from Sunday. So far so good, I'm in the lowest setting and man does it squeeeeeeeze!!!!!! Wish it had heat. But for the price I jumped on it. I'm still going to keep an eye for another one that goes up to the thighs.
