Bought a 3 pack of these from the tplink website two weeks ago for $189 (even came with a few free smart led bulbs)...
https://us.store.tapo.com/product...gn_in=true

Click their "spin to win" thing on the left of the screen, get a $30 off $200 coupon. $219 down to $189

End-of-life has been announced on these and the 2.5Gbps version of these has an even shorter life.

Looks like I need to lower my $145 listing for these on Marketplace 😅

These are great to set and forget and are for most people. I just switched to Ubiquiti stuff.

Source?
*edit: I tried searching around and this doesn't appear to be true. I found this however: " TP-Link will provide security update support to the following products up to 28 Feb 2028, and extended support may be provided after the stated date.
Deco M4, Deco X20, Deco X20-4G, Deco X50
Deco X55, Deco XE75, Deco X75, Deco X50-4G, Deco X95 "

Costco has the TP-Link Deco X60 Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 3-Pack for $129.99, in store brick & mortar. $139.99 online. To me, it's a better deal. Very minor differences. Way better satisfaction promise!

To those who are saying end of line... that's BS. 2.4GHz band will be around long time. lol

Dual-Band. Will provide slow speeds if using this system in a wireless mesh.

They weren't saying end of life for the 2.4Ghz band, they were just referring to this particular model by its 2.5Gb LAN port.

It was discussed more in the thread for the wifi7 version.

Support hasn't ended yet but and end date has been announced, so Feb 2028 for the XE75 and later this year in Sept 2026 for the XE75 Pro.

Can you set this up without using an app? That is from a windows box connected via wired ethernet?

No. Impossible unless you can work right off thr defaults. One downside of tplink is no web interface... its also pain to make advanced changes easily and app sometimes don't refresh and crash while network, at least my experience with it.

I don't have this particular model but I have a TPLink Deco mesh system and been very pleased with it.
