It only showed that price at one of the stores that had it in stock near me. I'm guessing the others where it shows $499.99 are all ship to store. It had it for store pickup though.

The best option is just to click all the stores around you and see if it shows that price. It will look like the attached images.

I'm seeing $424 pre-tax in middle TN. I bought this kit in the Taiwan variant for $385 delivered cost US warehouse shipping last November via @liexpress coupon stacking and have been enjoying it. No problems just changing the region after redeeming the Mario kart code.

Check out CrownPuff Deals, he posts about this stuff and other retro handhelds and catches the big deals. Pleasantly surprised at the decent game prices and frequent sales for good titles so far, and bought some of the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Bluetooth controllers to do 4 player local play with my kids.

Searching local pickup prices on the website I do see that some nearby Sam's Clubs had the $375 price but are out of stock. Closest deal actually in stock to me was $450 and 1.5 hours away so not worth the drive, but great deal if you can find this.
