For $90 this is a buy. The Gore-Tex liner means zero break-in. Wouldn't expect it to last at a construction site but will be fine with regular use. Who cares what a guy who shills for Thursday Boot Company says?

280 is insane but I always thought Danners were really comfortable and had almost no break in period. I used to get them when I had a use it or lose it yearly boot stipend. I'd totally get these in that situation.

I've been wearing this boot for more than a year and they are the most comfortable boots I've ever had! It's a shame that they don't ship to CA!

Im tempted to have them for at home kick around boots, 90 bucks isnt bad for a decent boot i dont bring to construction sites.
