This is a great battery. I got one 3 months ago from Aliexpress for $650 to put into my ClubCar Golf Cart. The stability lips jutting out the top and the bottom made it a little too big to fit into the compartment. But 15 minutes of using an oscillating tool to cut some plastic pieces from the battery compartment allowed it to fit in snugly.
Battery is very well built and the included battery monitor is a nice addition.
If I needed more batteries, this would be a great option.

This is a true Slickdeal. 600 bucks for right at 5Kwh total capacity from a reputable brand is as cheap, maybe even the cheapest I've ever seen. For what its worth, this battery is perfect for expanding a Pecron F3000LFP to 8Kwh of total capacity for right around $1400 total. Which breaks down to just 18 cents per Wh. Gonna be hard to beat that. Thanks OP

Great price for a 48V LFP. I paid more than twice as much a few years back for a 5kWh 48V rackmount LFP.

I'm not the guy you asked, but I picked up the DC House 18A charger a while back for $96 as a backup/supplemental option for generator use (I also have a hybrid inverter that does solar or AC charging). Its fan is a little noisy, but it's also a ~1000W charger so having decent cooling is a good thing for it.
Looks like it's currently priced @ ~$97 still on ebay.

Nice that these are becoming reasonable. I need to convert my 12V system to 48V , so something like this would be good.

Wondering how one might use this for an ebike... having 100AH for $600 seems like a steal, but it's ~100lbs, so I'm not sure where one could mount that unless they had it on a little cart being pulled by the bike or something...

I was looking at that Pechron energy station, but the question is I did not see a way to charge a generic external battery. They use a proprietary harness to go to their super expensive expansion battery like all the rest so wanted to know how you are getting around this (relay float, external charger) which sort makes it a more complex solution . Thx

There's a handful of different videos showing how to do it different ways. Some people are cutting and splicing the factory pecron branded cables but others are just buying the correct adaptors off amazon. Here's how one guy did it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vI2dUYgS2w4. I plan on using the official pecron cable used for their brand battery by just cutting off one end and then crimping ring terminals to it as people have shown in videos. Either way, it looks pretty straight forward and once done the added 48v battery will discharge and charge as you discharge and charge the main unit. Super cool. For what its worth, the the Pecron branded expansion battery is a very reasonable $699 & its 3kWh's so if your not a DIYer, going that route isn't a bad plan or a bad price. I myself plan on adding/hacking a different brand 48v 100ah like this one for $600 but will be a full 4kWh not 3. But really, either way is still a good price, some people will just feel more comfortable doing it the way the manufacturer intended and DIYers trying to save a few bucks will hack it with a 3rd party battery.

Heres another guy hacking a different model Pecron to a 48v battery but its going to be the same process doing it with the Pecron F3000LFP. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S...pCY&t=631s

Thx I will check it out. I wasn't sure if the Pechron disabled like EcoFlow in handshake so I assume that it is just charging to a specific voltage then float as there will be no comms with the battery (other than voltage). I did read their expansion batt is 48V so that will keep the wire gauge under control.
