Love the pen size / form factor of the drill. Feels like it might be overkill/ easy to break electronics if you're not careful though

Products like this sound good on paper but if you're just needing to do some quick work you'll grab it out of a drawer and it's not charged. I suppose it would still work even without power, so maybe not a complete waste.

Not likely. The motor is not high torque. You sometimes have to manually loosen the screw, then use the motor to remove it or reinstall it. Great if you have to do a lot, and have arthritis or similar, to save on all that extra twisting.
