I make cold brew every couple of days for the last 2-3 years. This machine works. But the flavor is no where near a regular steeping. From a slightly elitist perspective. Pass on this and just get a good ole pitcher with filter meant for cold brew it will probably be cheaper as well.

Same I prefer the pitcher because my fridge doesn't have an ice maker

i looked at a video of the process it takes to make the cold brew, is it just me or do u use a lot of coffee for it.

I have a Presto Dorthy ice cold brew that is very similar to this & does a good brew. That one was a lot cheaper than this one by about 70% & included coffee packs. I didn't purchase it at Amazon. Amazon has it for $19.99 on their site.

I found an OXO cold brew pitcher at a thrift store for $8.99. Still dialing in the steeping time.

I have & use the OXO cold brew pitcher also. Recommended.
I'm a coffee snob, so I can't imagine a vacuum rush job as doing very well. It might be ok but at the very least it will be thin coffee and/or wasteful (must use much more coffee to achieve the same level of flavor).
