I make jerky at home and usually can't compete with the price per lb of the Jacks Links slickdeals posted. For this one, I absolutely can. You basically lose 2/3 of the weight of beef. I just made a batch of Jerky from some 4.99/lb london broil. I'll make about 2lbs of finished product for 30 bucks. Mine is a much cleaner ingredient list, and almost 0 sugar.

I'd say no if you aren't wanting the actual variety side of things and just focusing on the jerky. My aim is usually under a $1 per once is a good deal on jerky.
