Beware. I bought it before Christmas and tested it with a working M.2 2280 SSD. Computer couldn't recognize the drive. In Disk Management the disk was "Unknown, Not Initialized", and initialization returned "Incorrect Function". I am not alone after reading reviews. I have no idea how this item got good reviews.

Funnily, I had just ordered this a couple days ago sans coupon; hadn't even opened it yet. Looks like I'm returning that one and reordering!

Even though it's M+B keyed, this device actually is not compatible with SATA drives, according to reviews.

It's not just you. SSD and RAM prices have gone up a lot because of the AI/data center bubble driving demand.

So I bought one of these and ended up getting a refund and kept the thing. So it's kinda finicky on the ssd you put in there. I had a sata m.2 and learned that didn't work. But I have other external drive containers and they can handle anything I put in there. I think this is purely nvme ssd

The listing stated:
【Supported SSD】FIDECO NVMe enclosure can support M.2 NVMe SSD with M & M+B Key. The supported M.2 SSD sizes are 2230/2242/2260/2280. Just one M.2 enclosure can meet your needs of using different sizes of NVMe SSDs. Please not that it cannot support any M.2 SATA SSD.
