Community Reviews
This DEWALT 12 volt screwdriver is a compact, light-duty tool that shines for cabinets, electrical work, and other small screw jobs where a drill driver or impact driver feels like overkill. The clutch, variable speed, and lower RPM make it easier to control torque and avoid stripping delicate screws, and the 1 quarter inch quick swap chuck keeps bit changes fast. It can still handle occasional longer screws and even some light outdoor work. The main caution is that it is not an impact driver, and some comments question whether the 12 volt line has much future support.
The variable speed trigger and adjustable clutch help prevent over-tightening and thread stripping on small screws.
The compact, light build makes it convenient for cabinet work and electrical tasks where a drill driver feels overkill.
The tool can handle light-to-moderate screw driving, including driving about 3-inch screws when needed.
The 1/4-inch quick-swap chuck supports fast bit changes for assembly and disassembly work.
The battery can last through extended household tasks, including running roughly 100 feet of cedar fence pickets on a 3Ah pack.
The screwdriver design lacks an impact-hammer function, so it is not intended for impact-driver style work.
The tool may not hold 1-inch bits securely, which can limit compatibility for longer bit sizes.
Some reviews reportedly describe a short lifespan, including a 9-month experience compared with a Milwaukee alternative.
The deal price can vary by selection, and it may show a higher price until pickup options are chosen.

On more thought yeah I'm more for the Milwaukee here. Oops out of stock already. IDK if they give you the deal price if you put in your email and buy it later.
This is strictly for small/medium screws and electrical boxes, I believe.
Carpenter but I guess that don't matter much for this tool. I was thinking of picking one up for furniture making but I think the 5 in 1 would serve me better.
