I feel like these are kind of like a hammer... more expensive doesn't really get you much more. I'd go with harbor freight...easy warranty replacement if ever needed and a cheaper price.

With easy bolts I'll agree. But quality makes a huge difference on stuck ones.

I haven't noticed a difference between gear wrench, DeWalt or Icon. But that might be my own limited experience. I definitely prefer 6 point assuming clearance allows for it.
You know. Like a hammer with a nice balance to it.

It's the name. If they were made by Nike, they'd be 50x the price, but all probably made in the same chi-com factory......

After the rise of quality from Asian countries like Taiwan and the fall of Craftsman and other brands...it's anybody's game now. HFT certainly understands the opportunities that it has created, by launching new lines of tools with a tiered level of quality to each of them.

It's been said in the past that when the Chinese invades the USA, if their armament and weaponry is of the same quality as the stuff we get at HF, we don't have anything to worry about. I think that sentiment has seemed to have changed to a slight degree in some cases.

Scary thought in today's world...but I will say the Chinese "good enough" products and the American "good enough" products still have quite a gap but I think it closes every year.

When was the last time China invaded, bombed, occupied, sanctioned a country? How many Chinese military bases surround the US? You are projecting the US threat to every other country on the planet.

It was just a joke, lighten up a bit, ok? Life's too short.
