Bought these a while back and they are horrible. My hats constantly fall off and the adhesive on the back dried up so fast. Basically useless with every type of hat I own.

I have these and have zero issues with them holding the hats. Each one is maxed out. I usually have to lift the locking portion to remove a hat. I didn't deal with the adhesive, I just drywall-screwed them in. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I recommend. I'm going to get these again.

Edited to add it was $8.09 after tax. I clicked the link in OPs post to get it to activated instead of having to manually enter the code at checkout.
