Saw it in the theatre. As a SciFi fan I thought it was worth seeing as a "turn your brain off and enjoy the ride" type of title.

I agree. Saw it in the theaters. I walked in thinking it was going to be terrible. It was much better than that. A departure from the past canon for sure but it opens up the predator world to make new in roads.
