I can't be the only one with an initial thought of, "because plants hate getting rained on?" before realizing it's an umbrella for sun, not rain. 😄

Also be careful if you get strong winds in you area. This might be better for a porch or something? Around here in NJ that would be gone.

Im going to try this as a shade umbrella while seated in a camping chair watching kids soccer game.

For that 55 '' high and 20'' wide with tilt available should work.

If not tall enough, I can tape the base to my chair leg for custom height.

Poor reviews, but for $6 I'm willing to try it.

It is sizzling hot in my area since we are at the border to the desert (about 105 during summer day). Our tree leaves used to brown and turn crispy for many summer. With the deep watering technique, they stay green now without shade.
