FOR USE WITH FUEL KEG ONLY: Works exclusively with the Fuel Keg Refillable Propane Tank. Not for standard 1 lb. cylinders.

True or not true, that is the question....LOL

does this include the bottle? the bottle has some special fittings that is not interchangeable with disposable bottles?

I believe this model is specific to the Mr. Heater brand. If I recall correctly, it has a dowel pin or something that won't let off-brand bottles fit. I can report back in a few days when it arrives

These all have a small male part inside the outlet of the adapter that lines up with the refillable bottles.

This makes lining up the bottles annoying, even on the "correct" bottles.

The flame king version is easy to remove/dremel/file this male "dowel " off. This makes it easy to refill any bottle. This version looks more difficult to do this with.

Having said that, I would still recommend getting the actual dot approved refillable bottles. I use the flame king brand because of the modified adapter.

They are easier to refill fully by bleeding as you refill, rather than doing the freezer trick to fill disposable bottles.

I have used about 12 over the last 2 years, with zero failures. Just watch that the plastic insert/ seal in the bottles doesn't come out after refilling. Also use those brass caps on Amazon to store after filling so that the plastic ring doesn't get lost while storing.
