Don't know anything about clothing brands, but apparently this Factory line is the cheaper version of the mainline Banana Republic brand, typically made with lower quality materials and simpler styles, at a more affordable, less luxury price point.

Will confirm. BR used to be my go to for higher level clothes back when I lived "in the big city" but their quality took a dive and switched to Bonobos. But now they're both similar to JCrew Factory quality (cheap). Hell, even Costco sells BR pants.
