Don't buy as this model keeps having issues. Family friend bought hers and had 3 exchanges with Costco until finally switching over to Lenovo. (read the reviews!)

I don't know why someone said they have problems. I've bought about 20 of these exact models. They work great as a normal internet / office machine, including for my Dad and other elderly folks. Lord knows I don't want them to have problems...

I think the "normal" for a low cost Dell made today is a louder fan noise than the "normal" for a low cost Lenovo made today.

My last Dells ran really hot, and are starting to have hinge issues.

That being said, I bought a mid range Lenovo and it constantly disconnects due to having a wi fi adapter known for that; really frustrating. Pick your poison.
