I bought these and ended up returning them. They are not uniformly made, which is the issue with the hangars I purchased from Ross. I have yet to find anything that is better quality than Ikea (no Ikea near me, regretfully.)

The 30 count one was listed here on a similar deal for around $17, making this almost same deal per hanger. They are not bad at all. Wood is sturdy but I haven't used these extensively so I can not say if the hook is sturdy enough to stay attached to the wood.

Is there any way to see the origin of the wood used in these? Renewably sourced, or are they from illegal clear cutting in the amazon rainforest?

Neither. They are made out of random bushes and branches that Chinese workers rip out on the streets on their way to work.

I'm just saying that I'm used to being able to turn a package over and see "Made in India", "Made in Taiwan", etc. I looked through this, and couldn't seem to find any country of origin info.

I'm not saying the link I gave is a good price, only example of. I bought hangers like this around black friday for the same price as the ones posted here without wide shoulders..
