I had to check out in the Best Buy app to buy it unlocked. The website required signing up with a carrier.

At checkout, for open box in store pick up, it says there is a restocking fee if returned. Is this the case for open box? I thought it only applies to new phones.

The 256gb storage is fine for most users. But the 1tb version does provide additional ram memory, a total of 16gb vs. 12gb in 256 and 512gb.
