Typical Beats product. Work & sound great. Disposable as a Gillette razor. Source: owned (2) pairs. One from Apple Store , one from eBay. No hard use, six months max before they crumble apart.
These are track-able via "FindMy" app.

You must have received defective batches, or "no hard use" is an inaccurate description. I own two pairs, and my wife also has two. One pair is used for sports activities like walking and cycling, while the other is used for daily wear, sleeping, and traveling. We've had these shoes for years now without any issues.
