Just picked this up with super coupon. Excellent quality. I took the threaded head off the old hose of my 12-Gallon 6-HP shop-vac and switched it with the head that came with this kit... now it screws to my shop-vac like OEM. Works great!

Bought this for a Dewalt Stealthsonic Quiet 9-Gallon shop vac and it's been great for getting into all the hard to reach areas inside vehicles. I paid the full price and have no regrets given it's nearly as a good as the Rigid shop tools it copies. For $20, it's hard to beat this set.

In for two- great gifts! I paid over $50 for my RIGID kit and it is having age issues so I think Ill pick up one for me. (PS: The in store coupon is reusable- at least in the store I went to)

Does the smaller diameter hose significantly increase the vacuum volume? I've only been using 2.5" for this reason

It does but the noise is mostly at the hose tip itself and not from the vacuum motor. It's still a super quiet shop vacuum even with the smaller diameter hose.

Are you referring to Shop-Vac as the brand name? I have a Shop-Vac 12-gallon 5-HP Quiet Plus with a 2.5-inch hose. I bought the Bauer 2-piece "Wet/Dry Vacuum Dusting Brush and Crevice Tool Kit," but it didn't fit, even though it said it was compatible with 1-1/4 in., 1-7/8 in., and 2-1/2 in. hoses as well.
