Banana Republic Factory line, which is their cheaper brand, typically made with lower-quality materials and more synthetic fibers. Hence it only being 38% cotton, and 45% polyester.

I remember how I got a steal ordering a bunch of shirts and jackets on clearance from J. Crew (not Factory) a year or so ago. Every single shirt was 100% cotton (one shirt was a cotton-cashmere blend).
