The 98 inch TCL QM6K is drawing attention as a strong value mini LED TV, especially for buyers comparing it with Costco. The Costco version is priced around the same level, but the Amazon deal skips Costco's five year warranty and free wall mounting. Screen finish is the big difference, with the regular QM6K described as matte and better for glare control, while the Pro version is semi glossy with anti reflective coating. For brighter rooms, the matte panel stands out, and the QM7K is viewed as the bigger picture quality step up.
Living rooms with bright windows, because the matte finish reduces glare and reflections at the viewing angle.
Buyers who want a large-screen upgrade without jumping to a higher tier, because the next model up is described as a massive picture-quality leap for about $300 more.
Amazon is close in price to Costco after a Prime discount, but Costco adds a 5-year warranty and free wall mounting. Costco in-store pricing is also reported at $1,299, so the better buy depends on whether you value the extras and the screen finish.
No. The Costco QM6K Pro is described as a semi-glossy screen with Crystglow HVA anti-reflective coating, while the regular QM6K is the matte-screen version. The matte finish is reported to reduce glare and reflections more effectively.
The matte QM6K is the safer pick for bright lights or windows because it reduces glare and reflections more. The QM6K Pro can look a bit punchier, but its glossy/anti-reflective screen still shows more reflections in open or bright rooms.
For about $300 more, the 98-inch QM7K is described as a massive leap in picture quality. That makes the upgrade compelling if picture performance matters more than staying at the QM6K price point.
The Costco QM6K Pro is a semi-glossy screen with the Crystglow HVA anti-reflective coating. This is the same HVA panel that the QM7K, 8K and 9K use. While it has an anti-reflective coating it doesn't at all resemble the version with the matte screen.
Amazon after 10% with prime only $50 more than the price in store Costco. You don't have to worry about how to transport it to your house and you he Matt finish .

I picked up the pro variant from Costco. Checked this version at Bestbuy. The matte finish on this one really reduces glares or reflections. However I felt pro vesion is bit more punchier (to an extend like an OLED screen). Thankfully Costco during BF had this at the front and helped to see how bad the glossy screen can be on the Pro. I felt it was okay for our living room. Lot of neagtive reviews on costco site because the term "anti reflefive screen" creates confusion.
I would choose regular qm6k if have bright lights or windows reflecting at the viewing angle for its matt3 finish. If not qm6k pro.
