The review is below if you want to see comparison to others. The included plunge base is nice over the standard fixed base, but I imagine that is opinionated according to the intended work. I like the Dewalt and Milwaukee depth adjustment better, but not an issue at this price. The included case is a definite bonus for me instead of tossing it in a soft bag for storage / transporting. The drop-shutoff is a nice safety feature to save your skin and the bit.

I'm not entirely sure whether Lowe's means to have this kit on sale PLUS the member discount, so not sure how long this deal will last...

Ends today, Feb 6th, at 11:59 pm. Shipping to your address and store pickup is free for Pro members. Shipping to your address was next day for me while in-store pickup (out of stock for Atlanta) was midweek next week. For me this was a better deal with the plunge base, vac connections, hard case, battery and unit included for the same price as the Dewalt 20Ah trim router alone. I don't really see a difference in the 18V and 20V batteries for longevity or power output. More of a marketing tactic.

If you prefer the fixed base for this router, it is available as the router and base alone for the 229$.
