You'd probably want a SQ2 / SQ1 / Square for US electrical work and cabinet work or RVs unless specifically Robertsons R1, R2, etc.
Robertsons have a slight taper and will eat the heads of screws with wobble on SQ fasteners which SQ do not. US will use SQ fasteners due to cost instead of robertsons and while robertsons are superior to squares (they have a taper on them which is superior if using a Robertson fastener with a robertson bit/driver but a robertson bit/driver on a SQ (square) will slightly eat the heads.
Most installed fasteners in the US will be of the square drive. In Canada it will be robertsons. However you can use them interchangeably.
But US uses Torx (superior) or Philips (curse anyone who installs Philips)
